Indiana University Professor Dr. Carolyn Calloway-Thomas, a longtime Anyone Can Achieve mentor, is honored by the Central States Communication Association (CSCA) with a speaker series that bears her name: the Carolyn Calloway-Thomas Inclusivity Speaker Series (CC-T ISS).
About the Speaker Series
The CC-T ISS is named in honor of a distinguished scholar with a long-standing commitment to CSCA. Dr. Calloway-Thomas’ scholarship is nationally recognized in intercultural communication and rhetorical studies.
The series was founded and is primarily sponsored by members of the Ethnicity, Race, International, and Class Concerns (ERICC) Caucus. Following committee recommendations, at least one speaker is invited annually to deliver a lecture or participate in a focused discussion panel on inclusive scholarship. Speakers are designated as CSCA Calloway-Thomas Inclusivity Fellows after their participation.
